Forever 21 Bone Long Necklace $5.80
Forever 21 Coral and Gold Flower Ring $4.80
TOTAL OUTFIT: $51.09

Today's been an interesting one. This was the first day where I was completely alone in my house. My mom had to go to Tampa for an event for her job, and Amerie was with my sister. I took this time to work on organizing my closet, as well as tending to my toes and fingers. I also got laundry and chores done. I swear, I really need a job so bad. I'm tired of relying on my mother's income. However, since she opened her jewelry stand at the local flea market, she said I can help her with that and reap the benefits of it :) It's going to give me experience in running a business, which is what my major is (business management). It's been a slow start, but I see it picking up soon.

I wanted to wear something free and casual. However, this dress has a lining in it. I nearly died trying to take photos, so I only ended up with three good shots. I also had only three good shots because a wasp kept chasing me again. It must be mating season because those things are becoming more common than usual. Or maybe they are attracted to my bright colored wardrobe lol. This dress is one of my fave dresses, but it's actually too big for me now. The back was drooping a bit, and I had to tie the belt really tight. I would have loved to done a shot from the back, but then you would see my bra lol. I may end up selling it, but I'm not sure yet. I will most likely get it taken in a little so I can still wear it. The shoes are not really as comfy as they seem, but I will endure pain for fashion :). It's funny because I have a black counter pair for every item I am wearing (black and white maxi dress in same print, black sandals in the same style, a black flower ring, and a long black necklace). I guess I'm attracted to certain styles lol.

Speaking of dresses, I have been in love with some dresses from Torrid. Despite what many may seem to think, I am a plus size woman. I am an extra large- 1X in tops, dresses, and bottoms, a size 16-18 in jackets and dresses, and a size 12-15 in pants and jeans. It's not easy finding great clothes for my shape, because I have rather round belly. I love getting dressed up and sexy for clubbing, but it's hard to find dresses that don't make me look like I squeezed myself into them. However, these dresses are perfect for those who are belly conscious like myself!
Black and White Geometric Print Pleated Dress $58: I would style this similarly to how the model is dressed, except I would probably add a bright colored shoes, like a cobalt blue platform pump, and a bold white necklace versus the dramatic earring.
Hot Pink Textured Satin Dress $74: This is perfect for those plus size teens going to Homecoming this year, as well as for a night on the town. For a Homecoming, I would pair this with a metallic peep toe heel, matching clutch, and large pink stone earrings. For clubbing, I would embrace the typical "punky girl" color palette and add a pair of black booties with silver studs and a long, multi-chain statement necklace.
Black Shoulder Bling Cowl-Neck Dress $64: The bling shoulder is something I've been loving for a while now. Many people may say the "bold shoulder" trend is over, but you can't help but still want to wear it. I love this dress with a simple black peep toe bootie or platform pump with an oversized silver bangle.
Cobalt Military-Button Tube Dress $58: Perfect for the girlie girl who wants to try the military trend. In a cobalt blue, you still pay homage to the armed forces, yet look incredibly sexy! Pair this with a pair of brown ankle boots and a pair of bold earrings incorporating the copper color of the buttons.
Challis Tube Dress-Floral Print $48: This can be dressed up or down, which is what I love about florals this season. This dress can be worn during the day with a pair of brown oxford flats/brogues, a vintage brown messenger bag, and "nerd" glasses. For night, pair this dress with a black waist belt and black strappy platform sandals.
Black Jewel Pleated Club Dress $54: The dress is obviously for the club, but I would even wear in the daytime. I would rock this dress with flat gladiator sandals and a black classic-shaped tote back (possibly the Birkin bag). For clubbing, a gladiator wedge heels and several silver rings works perfectly.

Thanks to everyone who has been following the blog so far. It means a lot that you are all still here despite my laptop troubles. However, good news is here: The man fixing my laptop said he is in the process of retrieving my files from my laptop, before the hard drive completely crashes and dies. I am just so thankful it didn't happen while I was in school. Speaking of school, I am so sad that the summer has passed by so quickly. I go back August 24th, and I feel like my summer was just beginning. I am excited to start classes because I'm getting so close to starting my major-related classes, I can taste it lol.
