Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had fun last night and rocked it out fashionably. I stayed home with my family and rung it in with Amerie. She stayed up the whole time but eventually fell asleep. I feel like even though I could have gone out, staying home was the best option with all the shooting going on outside.

If I did go out last night, I would have worn this. This is me. Not too much fuss but still stylish and different. I am loving ankle socks right now again, and have been thinking of different combinations since I've had them. I also decided to bring out my sequin skirt from Forever 21+. It's a tad cold outside so I definitely needed a blazer. I feel like a t-shirt+cute skirt+heels+blazer= effortless party look.

Thank you all for the friendship advice. We have gotten on texting terms so far. Don't know how it will go but it's a new year and I am trying to leave old drama behind. Also, relationships from the past are coming back and I'm like, once again, leaving it all behind me. It's a new year, and it's time for me to really shine. I don't want the past to keep coming up and interfering with what I have going on.
