Runway My Way: Just Cavalli Fall 2010 RTW

Just Cavalli is the young adult division of the Roberto Cavalli brand. This sub-brand is known for being a more youthful version of the main brand, yet still encompassing the sexiness and sophistication of Roberto Cavalli. Just Cavalli is a brand one would say is more affordable for the people, not just celebrities. I for one still could not afford to pay those prices. I am just too broke for that. However, his collection truly captivated me. It was such a great mesh of glam and grunge. From colorful leggings to leather and plaid, it was a sea of rebellion and sexiness all in one.

One look truly spoke to me, and immediately, I knew I could recreate it with my own clothing. Here's the original look.

And this is how my ensemble turned out:

I don't own a leather skirt, and I don't really know if I want one. I live in Florida where it's rare i get to wear leather anyway. However, I knew I had found gold when I found these black leather shorts on Ebay. And they are real genuine leather. The best part? Only $16.99 plus shipping. I immediately did the buy it now and jumped for joy when they arrived.
To recreate this look, it's pretty self explanatory. But for those who are not sure of the plaid and leather, here's a basic equation for you:

PRINTED TOP+LEATHER/SOLID BOTTOM+PUMPS+LAYERED NECKLACE= JUST CAVALLI INSPIRED LOOK

Wearing an Aeropostale red plaid tunic, Ebay black leather shorts, Wet Seal black platform pumps, and Forever 21 gold hearts layered chain necklace

Hope you all enjoyed this look! Thanks so much for the support on my last few posts, you guys truly inspire me and I am honored when people say I inspire them. Again, thanks so much, and I will be back to poetry soon :)
