Here We Go Again

 It's that time of the year

Children are getting back on their sleep schedule

Parents are up late getting everything ready for the morning

Yes, the school year is finally starting again

 College kids are perfecting their dorm room or suites

Some even decorating an entire apartment

Parents are finding it hard to let go of their "little angel"

Knowing that away from them, they will return as young adults

 Teachers are correcting their class schedules

Practicing their students' names

Making sure they are prepared to take on a full class

And realizing that their every educational move will affect their students' futures

 Stores are reaping the benefits of high daily sales

Textbook companies are making a fortune ripping students off

Trees are dying in order to fill numerous notebooks and making pencils

Clothing stores are passing off the new trends for fall that really have nothing to do with school

Yes it's that time of the year again

It's the fall school season

It's a fresh start for some and the last chance for others

Yep, here we go again.

Today's my first day of classes. Things have gotten really hectic in preparation for school. I will do my best to update as often as I can. I have so many things to share with you all.

First off, I will be writing/blog posting for the USFSP chapter of HerCampus. I am so excited for the opportunity to merge my love of fashion and my school. I will keep you all updated on my first post for them :) I will also have a link to the page where I will be writing on the side bar for easy access :)

Secondly, I am coming up with a great giveaway for back-to-school in about two weeks. Please be on the lookout for that. I will say it will be a gift card, but I won't say where. Let's just say it will be to a place where most blogging fashionistas shop :)

Thirdly, I will be posting a very exclusive interview in the coming week. I am so excited for the opportunity and cannot wait to introduce you all to such an amazing, talented woman. Be on the lookout for that and if you would like to to an interview or want one from me, my email is posted on the sidebar and I may not check it immediately, but I will do it soon :)


By the way, I definitely had to capture Amerie so you can all see how much she's grown. My gosh, she's been in school since January and I feel like she's just a mini adult already. She's already been bumped up to a new class, which she was super excited about :) She'll be four in November and I have no idea where the time went. What happened to my little infant? She loves this dress by the way :)

That's all of the big news I have for now :) I hope to try and keep you all updated on my life more than I have been, but you all know how the life of a full-time college student, two part-time job working, single mother is, right?
