Entrepreneurial Mindset

I can be one cocky MF.
I don't mean to come off that way.
I mean I really can't help it.
I am the MFing ish.
I feel like, if no one else has confidence in you.
You might as well toot your own horn.
Yep, the "shy" one is not shy anymore.
And I'm eating it up like it's my last meal on death row.
My fellow classmates, they sometimes look at me crazy.
My friends, they've just learned to accept me.
My lovers, well, hey do they really have a say in it?
My family, they love me regardless.
With all the support I get, how could I not be cocky?
Ok, so my follower counts aren't that high...
And my comment box seems lonely sometimes...
And talk about the lack of enthusiasm with some of my posts!
How does one develop a cocky attitude when they aren't that high on the totem pole?
I dream big.
I work hard.
And I never stop my hustle.
What do you call a person whose always working towards their goals...
Who never stops thinking of ways to change the world...
And who never has time to even take time to rest?
An entrepreneur.

About The Poem: I am a Business Management major and Entrepreneurship minor. I wish I could have switched my majors in time before graduation, because I am truly an entrepreneur. My career goals consist of being my own boss and bringing something innovative to the fashion world. The question is: Am I ready to face the reality of leaving the comfort of college? The answer is yes. I am ready to embark on a journey to be my own boss. I will of course need to have a steady job in order to live, but I will forever be working on my "side hustle" until it becomes my main hustle.

About The Outfit: I love color blocking, and that's what my intention was. However, the look seems more monochromatic than it does color blocking. I'm okay with that though lol. When I saw these loafers on Urban OG, I knew I had to have them. I mean, they kinda have the same theme that the Steve Madden loafers have, but for cheaper. I have gotten a bunch of compliments on these so I would definitely say the look for less was better in this instance. The bag is one that I cary quite often, more than I probably should since it's starting to show some wear and tear haha. I bought the headband to try the whole knotted headband look. I figure black is the best way to start it off. I also got a leopard one and polka dot one, so let's see how those looks come out. Gold jewelry seemed to be the best accent for this look since color and print were already taking over. All in all, a casual work look for me.

Hope everyone has a great Monday! Keep Calm and Stay Stylish!

Peace, Love, and Happiness!
