Hello everyone! I'm sorry I was M.I.A. this weekend, it was extremely busy as usual. I was pretty much on the social scene that weekend, but it's back to work now. I am sorry but I will be posting the giveaway details tomorrow. I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the goodies I'm giving away and I want to do this the right way :) Again, thank you to all of my followers and viewers so far. I am so happy that people enjoy my posts to some extent :)

Today's ensemble was going to be featuring my new trench coat. However, my mother said it would warm up, so I decided to wear a blazer. remind me to check the weather MYSELF before listening to my mom. It's been windy all day, and I didn't even have a scarf to protect me. I hope the rest of the week will be warm. I will be checking the weather tonight. I am so happy I got Amerie a trench coat too, so she can stay warm :) (And they match, yay!). I wanted to do a little preppy ensemble and this is what I came up with. I actually have a set that I went by from Polyvore
I love doing inspiration ensembles with my own wardrobe, helps me get dressed in the morning. It's like a style book online :) I also have a styling post coming up soon, involving a trend for spring that I'm not too fond of...clogs. I mean, they are cute when I see them on other people, but for myself, I don't think I would like it. However, I did find some cute ones that I will show my styling for them soon :) Possibly a Saturday post if I don't go anywhere lol.

I am so happy my education is flourishing. I got a perfect grade on my essay and an A on my online test, amazing! I still have another assignment to do but I have to get me text book for that. I've been balancing everything pretty well in my opinion :) Of course, it's hard trying to raise your daughter when you have three essays due in a week, as well as two tests, but I manage. It's all about time management. I admit, I have days that are all screwed up, and my priorities are still not as perfect as they should be, but I'm learning. Maybe if there's any moms out there that can give me some tips, feel free to leave a comment, I'd appreciate it. Even if you're not a mom, if you have time management tips, please share them :)

Here's a photo of Amerie recently, looking rather stylish I must say (thanks to me!)

Beall's Florida Khaki Pants
Family Dollar Faux Converse Sneakers
She loves dressing up girlie but prefers pants, jeans, and leggings over skirts. She does love dresses, but it's been too cold for that. Maybe this week she can wear one :) She's so rough and tough yet starts acting like a baby when she doesn't get her way (i.e. temper tantrum) but I just giver her space to kick around and cry and fuss and tell her to let me know when she's done and I will help her. She usually stops after about 2-5 minutes and then asks me for what she wants/needs. She thinks she's so grown up, but she has tons and tons of things to learn. Pretty mature for a 2 year old I must say lol.

Ok, well I gotta go, my sister is finally here to get me and take me home. I will be posting the giveaway tomorrow, as well as a styling post this weekend, and the usual outfit posts this week. I love you all and thank you for the support. Have an amazing day!

  1. Love that yellow POP! Great blazer! Congrats on the good grades too! I'm not great at time management, but I keep everything in a 'home' binder.. it's where I keep everything, schedules for the family, homeschool stuff, menu planning, and cleaning.. I don't stick to it of course, lol, but it's a great guideline!
