Check It Out

 Finally I can blog again! Finals are officially over which means I will be updating again. I am sorry for the long hiatus, but those finals were brutal. So far, I have an A in Computers in Business, B in Oceanography, and a B in Statistics. Let's hope for a B in Accounting and I will call this a successful semester :)

 I have also been stressed because I have to do Christmas shopping and have no idea what to get people. I am pretty much going to go on a whim and hope for the best. I have a general idea of what I want to get people, but I'm just nervous about if they will like it. I already have most of the people on my list covered, as I did some shopping earlier this year. I just have to get some of my friends gifts and some family members :)

 This outfit is one of many quick fixes for this random cold weather we are having. At first the winter seemed that it was gonna be warm, but was I surprised when one morning a couple weeks ago I woke up to harsh cold weather :/ This scarf and my turquoise ring are both purchases from NYC. The t-shirt is actually my first American Apparel purchase. It's a men's black "summer" t-shirt. I love how it feels, and will definitely have to invest in some more AA. 

 I tried to do close up shots, but they turned out horrible. I am going to have to figure out how to perfect those :/

 Exciting news! I got my first styling job! It's free but it will be the first one I can post here and in my portfolio. It's for one of my dearest friends and I am uber excited. She wants a new look for 2011 and she asked me to help her. She's such a sweet person and I can't wait to work with her. The actual shopping won't begin until next semester, but I will be working on her profile up until that point. I usually do a style profile based on their inspiration, what they are comfortable wearing, and what looks best on their body type. This is such a great opportunity, and hopefully she will refer me to other people :)

 Thanks so much for hanging in there with me while I had to be away. I love blogging and it sucked not having the time to do it. I have so many pictures in my iPhoto log that I think I will be able to do a lot of posts before I have to do a new one. This looks is actually what I am wearing now, since it's so cold. Again, thanks so much and check back soon. I will be doing a holiday style post for those who have those amazing holiday parties to go to :) Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving as well!
