Runway My Way: Roberto Cavalli Fall 2010 RTW

Now, last Friday I did a look inspired by Just Cavalli. For some reason, Roberto Cavalli never ceases to amaze me with his designs. I felt so sexy and cool in the Just Cavalli look, and for the Roberto Cavalli RMW look, I feel even more sexy and daring.

For his Fall 2010 RTW collection, he represented for the rocker bohemian in every woman. From harem pants to flowy dresses to faux fur to studs, Cavalli captured the bohemian rock woman in a sultry yet sophisticated way. I have a bit of a rocker edge in my heart so when I saw Look 33. I mean, it was dying for a remake.

This is the original look:

And this is how my remake turned out:

I am wearing a Max Rave black draped sleeveless vest, Old Navy black button front shirt, Forever 21+ black and silver leopard print leggings, Red Circle via Traffic black buckle side peep toe booties, and Betsey Johnson black and silver studded belt.

I decided to finally wear these leopard print metallic leggings because I really wanted a printed bottom. I would suggest a longer shirt for wearing leggings with a look, and did not realize how short my top was until now. But back to the subject at hand. I incorporated a longer front vest with the long sleeved blouse to give a similar effect that the vest and top give off in the original look. I finished it off with a studded belt and buckle side booties to stick as close to the look as I want to.

Now, I would not suggest wearing leggings as pants unless you are Nicki Minaj lol. I truly just wanted to have fun with this look, and throw out all of the rules of fashion for a change. Yes, I know it's taboo to wear leggings as pants, but dammit I am a grown woman and I will do as I please lol. So please, do not comment with negativity about me wearing leggings as pants, because I already know the rules.

To recreate the Roberto Cavalli look, you need the following equation:
SOLID BLOUSE+ LONG VEST IN MATCHING COLOR OF BLOUSE+ PRINTED BOTTOM+ ANKLE BOOTIES+ STUDS= ROBERTO CAVALLI LOOK 33 INSPIRED OUTFIT
